Morning Roll is closed for the night. Come back in the morning.
Morning Roll
Morning Roll was conceived in Smithville, TX on Jan 29 2019 as a longterm daily dice game to play with Mike & Heather. The game is now open and in its second round; click "add roll" to register or play.
Because Morning Roll is for the morning, the game information on this page is only available between 8am and 8pm in local browser time.

- Roll six dice in the morning.
- One roll per day. If you miss a day, you miss your turn for that day.
- Scores must be reported day-of.
- Play for the round ends on the final day of the year.
- No rolling off the table.
- The game is open. To join, click "Add roll" and register an account. If you need help email me.
- Scoring:
- 2500 for boxcars (three pairs) or for straights (1 2 3 4 5 6); these points are not "safe" and can be lost if future rolls on the turn bust. Boxcars and straights must roll at least once more and risk the potential six-die bust.
- Three 2s are 200, three 3s are 300, three 4s are 400, three 5s are 500, three 1s are 1000.
- Additional dice multiply these values; e.g. four 4s is 800, five 4s is 1600, six 4s is 3200.
- A single 1 scores 100, a single 5 scores 50.
- After each roll, the player must remove at least one scoring die from the dice pool, and may then re-roll the remaining dice or end their turn. If all dice have scored after one or more rolls, the player may continue their turn by re-rolling all dice.
- A turn busts - ending and scoring zero - if there are no scoring dice in any single roll. (You roll five dice, and there are no fives, ones, or triplets: your turn is done, you score zero. You roll two dice, and there are no fives or ones: your turn is done, you score zero.)
- You only score points on a turn if you choose to end your turn.
- In Morning Roll there is no minimum first score required to get on board.
