In April 2012, Steffan Gunn (now of Salad Editions) invited me to produce a collaborative exhibition with his "Screenprinting & the Political Poster" class at Brown. The final print was hung in Gallery 221 in the List Art Building.
What we made was "A beautiful place," a massive, stitched, procedural print depicting an isometric view of a "city" from above. This project was conceptualized, designed, printed, and installed all in a week(!!!!!). I produced all of the assets from drawings I made based on input from the students, then provided general directions for arrangement and assembly of the final print. The students did all of the printmaking and assembly work themselves, under Stef's direction.
