Recently Unearthed: Forty Useless Prehistoric Computers

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

This is a single day drawing project I did with my great love and CX Partner, Travis Iurato, on August 14th, 2008. We did it to wind down from our intense mindboggler Darcone Triangle, which we are printing.

When I was hungry, you gave me pizza to pig on. When I was thirsty, you gave me beer to enjoy. When I wanted to tag, you gave me a paint pen to write with. When I wanted to go to Devil’s, you had a bike for me to ride.

Dear Friends,

Would you like to buy this painting? I would like to sell it to you so that I might be able to drive my car home from the mountains when I’m done in them. Please get in touch, tom dot** bubul@gmail com, or forward to your moneyed friends.

Megalos Lesson

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Wow, it’s really been two months? Here’s Megalos Lesson, the video I was flipping out about last time, which I finished almost two months ago. I’ve been on band tour since. Significant/totally unreadable update coming soon. L.I.F.E. R.U.L.E.S.

No fast wonders #13

Monday, March 10th, 2008

To be sure, there is not and cannot be a single fast wonder in the year of our wonder and sorrow 2008. I took most of last week off from the Internet and spent it in Boston. I’ve been working on my video “Strobe” and spending time in my office at 5th and Girard. Look for my longer update soon.

New zine: TEST PATTERNS // All gold of any value is translucent #5

Monday, January 7th, 2008

I put out a new zine called Test Patterns. It’s 52 pages of drawings, junk and dreams. You can buy it from me in person for 3.50 or from Jacob at HBML, Quimby’s in Chicago or the Marvelous Record and Comics store in West Fuck for 4.50. I will mail it to you for 5 if you live in Amerikkka or 6 if you live in the outlands. All of those numbers are in dollars. Email me about it or leave a comment for me or whatever.

And now on to the normal crawl, L.I.F.E. on a pixel, life on a bristle, life on a sheet: things I did, thought and ate, January 6th, year of our wonder and sorrow 2008.

Golem’s report

Friday, November 16th, 2007

I got home to Random around 6pm and Bonsky had painted and moved into Robyn’s old room. I made eggs and took a nap that ran a little long. My shoulders and back are sore from not really exercising these last few days - tomorrow I’m riding off into the sunset.

I’ve been staying in the little room at L+K’s for the last few nights finishing the Mark Dion project for launch. Roger produced the visual elements, while I worked with our ruling computerz genius Mickey for the last few weeks - and especially the last few days - to make it a functioning reality. The site debuted today and I’m extremely stoked about both the work I did for it and the project in general.

This weekend I’m catching up on email and taping / printing CX Asylums. Call me if you want to eat dinner, drink celebratory gin, listen to Ayler records or sing big business princess diana late night philadelphia karaoke at a dude bar.
